My name is Christine. I discovered my love for reading when I was seven years old. I still recall the immense satisfaction I got from reading under the covers using the dim light of my spotlight, long after the “lights out!”order had been given.
This obsession with books eventually evolved into a love for writing and a career as a communications specialist, mostly working with non-profit organizations to develop media and communications strategies and to produce material for print, online and audio-visual communication. I am currently at the Deutsche Welle Academy in Bonn, Germany, where I am participating in the International Media Studies course.
I enjoy the research and and interaction required for my work and studies, but I also like escaping into the world where imagination rules! Flash fiction is becoming increasingly interesting for me, I love the challenge of packing all the energy and suspense I want into such a small box!
So you will find a little bit of my impressions, opinions and experiences of real life, but you will also find a few pieces of amateur flash fiction on this blog.
